Settlement evidence

Settlement is separate from quote acceptance, trade execution and book matching. Follow the configured workflow and its provider evidence. An HTTP success or internal record alone does not establish external finality.

Unresolved execution

Retain original references for unresolved outcomes. Recovery queues support query-first investigation. Do not create a new payment or release funds because a timeout elapsed.

Returns and reversals

Use the approved workflow for the financial state under investigation. A reversal is a new compensating action; original history remains. Funds availability, approvals and settlement evidence must satisfy the workflow before execution.
